Radio TEN
The Eternal Note — Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the Radio TEN website and Android application handle information. The website provides the Radio TEN player, support links, closed-test signup and related information. The Android app is designed primarily to play the Radio TEN internet stream and provide playback, alarm and station-related functions.
2. Closed-test signup on the website
If you ask to join the Radio TEN Android closed test through radioten.online, we ask for the Google Account email address you use on your Android device. We use this address only to arrange access to the closed test and to send information needed to join or download the test version.
The signup record contains the email address, submission time and an internal status. The signup form does not intentionally store your IP address. Our hosting provider may still create ordinary technical server logs that can include an IP address and request information.
Closed-test signup records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to administer the test and related correspondence, then deleted when they are no longer needed.
3. Website interaction diagnostics
The Radio TEN website may record selected interaction events such as “I LIKE IT”, Support button clicks and app-test access actions. The diagnostic record may include event time, a random session identifier stored only for the current browser session, referring page, browser user-agent string, current Now Playing text and website listening time at the moment of the event.
This diagnostic system is used to understand whether website controls work correctly and how they are used. It does not intentionally store your name, email address, advertising ID or IP address, and it does not use a persistent tracking cookie. Ordinary hosting logs may contain technical data independently of this diagnostic record.
4. Information the Android app does not ask you to provide
The Radio TEN app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, microphone access, camera access or advertising ID. The app does not contain advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
5. Internet radio and now-playing information
To provide radio playback, the app connects to Radio TEN streaming services hosted by Radio.co. It also requests station status / now-playing information from Radio.co. As with any normal internet connection, the service provider may receive technical connection information such as your IP address, request time, device/network information and standard server logs. Such processing is performed by the relevant service provider under its own terms and privacy practices.
6. “I LIKE IT” button
When you tap the “I LIKE IT” button, the app sends a small request to radioten.online indicating that a like came from the Android app. The request contains the event type (“like”) and source (“android_app”). It does not intentionally include your name, email address or other profile information.
The web server or hosting provider may nevertheless create ordinary technical logs associated with the request, for example IP address, time of request and basic network/device information.
7. Information stored on your device
App settings and operational data are stored locally on your device as needed for features such as playback preferences, sleep timer, alarms, selected alarm days and related app state. This information is not used to create a Radio TEN user profile.
8. Android permissions
The app may use Android permissions required for its functions, including:
- Internet access — to play the radio stream and retrieve station information.
- Notifications — to provide media playback and alarm notifications.
- Foreground media playback / wake lock — to keep playback working when appropriate.
- Exact alarms — if you choose to use the alarm feature.
- Start after device reboot — to restore scheduled alarms where supported.
- Audio settings — for normal media and alarm playback behavior.
These permissions are used to provide app functionality and are not used by Radio TEN to build an advertising or behavioral profile.
9. Data sharing and selling
Radio TEN does not sell users’ personal data. The app does not share personal data with advertisers. Technical data may be processed by infrastructure providers that are necessary to deliver the stream, website requests and related online services.
10. Children
The app is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require registration or submission of personal profile data, Radio TEN does not knowingly maintain child user profiles.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the app’s functionality or data practices change. The current version will be published at the same public web address.
